~ ☆† How to make an Irodohieru Artcard †☆~

I really have to say: I haven't kept many steps photographed.
But well... it was so much fun to create this card from one of my biggest (fashion) illustration muses:

That I have to tell you about it.
                                               This is the first step I took with my iphone camera:

This is the first outline, and the first step I've every made after that: to color the skin color. Here I'm using COPIC markers. If I'm remember correctly, I've used the colors: Egg Shell & Milky White

After this, I'm using two light pink shades to make the skin a little more like 'alive'. I wasn't really safe wich colors I should took for her frilled top (my design). But I think purple, white, blue, and a few grey will be matching with her silver/white hair.
At this photo you can also see a part of my giant red Kipling COPIC pen case. I've a big collection of these markers... over 80 pics, I think XD But I need them all. Not everytime every color, but I need these to create different styles.

This is the finished coloration. It difficult to create the right silver shade of her hair... and in the end it's a way to dark I think... but it's a nice colorway.Now, as you can see, I'm working with COPIC Multiliners to make the finish second outline.

This is a picture I've made while I'm working on the second outline. It's special... normally I don't take photos while I'm working on a drawing step. *haha* But I've made a lunch break and so I've photographed how far I had come.
You can see how different the hair is looking without the second outline.

And here it is. After drinking starbucks coffe and talking to my friends in the academy (we're sitting mostly on the same table). Just a few little light effects are to do with a simple GEL Pen (from Japan of course).

Aaaaaaaaand finally a face closeup. I've first noticed at the end, that I've used a reference who's took with a mirror... so sorry for drawing her piercings at the wrong side ;___; I hate mistakes like that *buhu*

Sea☆Life and Mermaid Fairytales~

In the last official summer holidays week I've visited the Sea☆Life to take the chance to go there cheaper with a special ticket for students. So I've got my ticket for only 6,50€. (the regular price is over 15,00€)

I was there to take a investigation for my completion project, what I've called 'Blue'. From: 'It makes me blue'. I want to tell my readers about the human, who took and does what he want without any permisson or consideration. So I've choose a mermaid as the main character to create a neo-fairytale story.
Other details are my own~ Sorry XP

But here is she, the mermaid from 'Blue':

I've made an artcard from this character who's called: D'Naria. I really like her, and it's fun to make experiments with the blue colours and all. And no, she don't get two tails. I just want to try this out.

The investigation in Sea☆Life is necessary for me to take a little study about the fish body and other basics about the water.
So I've made a lot of photos for references and other.

This is a Stare Fish. Do you see the eyes?










This one is more photogenic as I thought. And I can't take much good photos without taking the flash. And it was forbidden to take photos with a flash, to protect the animals. And I'm  a good girl~











A grey skate. They are still smiling~

There was many anemones. I was surprised to here that they are in danger of extinction! Some of them are really pretty and shines like L.E.D.

There in Sea☆Life is a little rearing tank for special anemones with small fish to live with them.

This is a Jewel Fish with doted flowed~ Very beautiful. This one was shimmering from a deep red to a strong orange.

A coral reef. With yellow Doctor Fish~

As a special for you: I've photographed a sleeping Altantic Nurse Shark! The other sharks were too fast for my flashless camera...

This is a special kind of a Starfish, with 6 feets. I think this one is really pretty, in black with these very long and slim feets. I think I'll draw this one sometime ~

This is a red Lionfish~ I was so happy to take a clear photo from one of them, because both of them were hyperactive. XD and they are so beautiful. A very interesting fish, I think♥

I've also photographed a Seahorse~ I really have to say, that I'm in love with them. There are so small and lovely. And the Seahorse couples are together for their whole life, what a living symbol for me!♥ This one was about 4cm long. So small *haha*

And here is one of my favorite marine habitables: The Jelly Fish! This one was the first. So small... and it looks so poofy, like a petticoat♥

These are 'Medusa' Jelly Fish. There are with the head upside down to the ground. All jelly fish were not easy to photographed, because the light was suboptimal... blacklight and some L.E.D. A mirracle that I've could took some clear photos without a flash!

Oh, I shouldn't forget that I've saw the feeding of the crocodile's ! It was a little scary to see that they've get rats and chicks... but interesting to~

To my other activities there: I've could stroke an anemone! Anemones are supersoft and not slipperyas you maybe think. I was surprised♥ And well... this is my beloved hand-made ammonite doublering XD I was wearing my ammonite collection from my indie label: MeltyWish on this day. I've tought that this would matches well as a topic like water. Water is life!





In the end. I've drunk a ice slushy in the Sea☆Life café after passing it the first time. But I was in it three times. Your ticket has an access for the whole day. I've collected some information about octopuses and have talk to an 'Aquarist'. They was all very nice there. I've taken over 150 photos in about 3 hours. Here are the best/interesting I've made. I hope it's not too much for your computer at all :D

「静脈」 Ryuutarou Fanwork - Mixed Media Fanart

I've told some guys that my next entry will be wrote about some artwork from me... so here it is.

This is an drawing with mixed media material. That means: different materials in one thing. 

I'm really satisfied with this one, and that does not happen often. ^__^°

Please understand that I'm always very critical with myself. 

I'll show you all the steps I've photographed until the finished and scanned endproduct♥

My work have started with an article in the japanese fashionmagazine KERA, who I really love and get every single month. 

There was a photo from my favourite band Plastic Tree on the first position at thier KERA CULTURE HUNTING: 

Well I was very happy about this, because this first position was with thier wonderful SINGLE 「静脈」(Joumyaku).

I really LOVE this styling from thier singer Ryuutarou Arimura. So I've tought I should try it annother one more to draw him. This photo was the reference for my first sketch...

So here is the photo from the filtered, simple, first sketch with my pencil.

After this, I was a little experimental with watercolour colourpencils and copic fineliners~

I was working gross with the bigger copic marker side and ... well this was a long way to this from the sketch above, but that is the only one after the sketch I have ^__^° Please forgive me~

There is processed some golden watercolour from Windsor&Newton and some watercolour pencils, I've bought in vienna. 

This artwork is gone through a long procedure, at first I just only wanted to draw Ryuuto in black and white. But... it's gone very costly the more I get closer to the end.

This is very near to the end. Here I've draw more softer pencil shadow above the dried colour and put some white gel pen for reflects. Here you can see this melting petroleum blue. Who the Joumyaku fish is coloured... I know it's not exactly THIS colour. But what should I have done? I had only the official video at my Plastic Tree app and this commercial photo in my KERA as refereces.

Well, the white/gold jellyfish is the last what I've added to it. The space was so free and this a Plastic Tree themed thing.. for the ones who don't knew it: Thier official fanclub is called Jelly Fish Breed 

The colour of this jelly fish and the shape is only taken from my fantasy. No reference or something.

This is taken before makeing the finish steps.... but who cares? I really like the filter colourway. And the Joumyaku is looking like it's smiling~

The scanned and pure result is this:

The scanner have lightened it up a lot... mixed media art is not very compfortable with this. Because there aren't tools for every single material you have worked with it.

The very best would be the real original, FOREVER. I really hate photoshop. All who's really called ART is disappering because of this, and I can't understand it... what is this f*cking programm against real colour and light reflects? Right, NOTHIG.

But okay, it turns out better as I've expect it. I hope that someone is here who likes it. I'm open for comments and other criticism~
