Lolitareview: Angelic Pretty's Whipped Magic ★♪

Today, I'm going to make a kind of a review about my very first Angelic Pretty dress:

THE WHIPPED MAGIC / MAGIC WHIP
in the colourway: lemon yellow x pink

Please understand: AP is photographing their stuff with much flashlight. The real colours are mostly some more intensive. I've took my photos without any flashlight, just with daylight.

This is the front, without a petticoat underneath:

As you maybe know: AP made their dresses with a little inbuild petticoat,
so it's slightly poofy without anything underneath.

This is the 'buildin petticoat' from AP with a A-line petticoat underneath.

The front, back & side, with a A-line petticoat underneath:

Let's start with the details, I love so much:

The detachable waist ties:

They are decorated with soft lace and a pearl bead at the end of them.
The green button is in the same colour shade as in the print. A fresh looking may-green, not a pastel one.

The pink bows in the middle of the sleeve are looking a little like self bound:

The big (dekoltee) front bow is decorated with the same pastel pink beads as the waist ties:

This bow, is NOT detachable of course~

The pink neckstraps are detachable too! They are kept with transparent buttons in the inner. They're very small and thin, so it's very comfy. You even don't feel them.

Come to my favourite topic here, the 'Lace Swatch'♥♥♥ AP is to produce lace, for every single dress design. Sure, they have their standard lace too, but for the bottom of the dresses is there mostly an especially lace design.

Here we have pastel pink scalloped lace with  cupcakes, forks and little hearts.

Here you can see it the best:

So, and I'm a good girl, I've even made some print swatches ^__^ I'm sorry for the ones who're wanted to see the print colourway design, originally from AP, but I can't find it. This dress is released in 2008. Too old for all.

There are alternate rows from stripes with dots to cupcakes in a front perspective and bird's eye perspective.

Okay, that's it, with the swatches. There are much more different kinds of cupcake designs in both perspectives.

I have to confess that the yellow colourway isn't the one, that I'll choose normally. But this design is so pink and full with other colours that it's really pretty for me.
My wish colour from the Magic Whip is black.
But... well I'm really satisfied with this. There aren't many good dresses who'll fit me. I have a big bust... or better: a way too big boobs for lolita. So I'm always looking for clothes who are pretty cute AND with a little more shirring.
With this dress I've figured out, that the dresses with full back shirring will be great for me. This dress have a length from 89cm and I'm 1,70m. It shouldn't be shorter for me. For lolita it's better to be ... 1,65m as the maximum.
The dress is roundown made of high quality cotton. The lace is a soft chemical one, all in, this dress is decorated with four different sorts of lace.
I've got this cutie second hand on the official german Lolita community Dunkelsüß for only 150€. This is really a good price, I think. The original price was 24,040¥ So that's around 120€ more than I've paid for it.
Now I'm looking for the socks. Anyone there who's selling the pink colourway of them?
However, I have a complete coord with this, and I think it's good~

Here at last is a picture of me, wearing it. It's made in our precious garden in summer, with fresh colored hair, of course♥

Outfit roundown:
Dress: Angelic Pretty - Magic Whip
Socks: Angelic Pretty - Dream Star
Shoes: An*Tai*Na - AP Tea Party Replica
Headbow: Baby, The Stars Shine Bright - Logo Bow
Jewelry & Accessoires: MeltyWish, Angelic Pretty, Chocomint

The next dress review is comming soon, seriously ^__~

Where I'm Shopping In Germany

I really love this word 'shopping'. I don't like to lost money, but all the clothes, accessories and others are beloved by myself, not by my coincase. XD

Some of my friends and readers have asked me if I could write an entry how about I'm shopping, where and what. So here is the first part:

- Shopping in Germany

It was summer, and I had summerholidays. So I was visiting some cities to shop in their shops. In the SPECIAL shops, who are only there. The most important places for shopping where Hamburg and Wolfsburg. There I've got MONKI clothes and some rockabilly stuff.. well it was a rockabilly shop but I've bought creepy cute stuff and something for my beloved lolitastyle.

So there we have MONKI <- Onlineshop

I don't have many stuff from this brand, but I really have to say, I love this simple designs, and super fabric. Some stuff is really expensive but I swear, they are worth their money.♥ I really love to wear this for angura inspired streetfashion.

This year I've bought something from their summer sale. Socks for 6€, A chiffonskirt for 10€, a Shirt for 15€ and
a phonecase in a unbelievable pink colour for also 6€.

The shop in Germany is located in Hamburg. It's a beautiful city. And this shop is really great. I wasn't in a more interesting looking shop here in Germany.

The next shop is MIK Funshopping. They've had a great store in Wolfsburg. But now they are cucking out all thier clothes and Shoes. So they've made a final reduction. I've got all the stuff more than 50% reduced. Sometimes for 75% less from the official prices. So I've bough many expensive stuff high reduced.

Living Dead Souls Blouse 12€

Demonia Mary Janes for 10€

Demonia Pinkpaint Creepers for 12,50€

Kreepsville Eyeball Bows Hairclips for 6,99€ for each pair.

This is a great shop. Even if they'll not selling clothes in their official store anymore, you have a huge selection in their Onlineshop ♥

So there is a shop, I think many of you knows: Claire's I really like their socks, tights, hairgoods and some of their bags and gloves.

Claire's Battights from thier halloween collection. About 9€

Bought this in summer sale ^__^ How I've said: Hairgoods and tights.

There is annother accessory shop I really like. It's Accessorize I had the pleasure to visit the Flagstore in Vienna. There i've bought something from their Monsoon fashionline. I love them all.

Some supercute socks I've bought in the summer sale this year.
I've paid arround 2€ for them.

This is a part I've bought at Accessorize in our local shop in Hanover. I've paid under 10€ for all.
There are:

-2 pairs of dotted kneesocks
-a pair of elastic pastel beangles
-a long simple heart necklace with blue chain
-and the sneaker socks with dots and flowers

A VERY long pearl necklace for classy outfits and lolita.
A flower headpiece who I really love♥ They have the best synthetic flowers who you can get here in europe. I've never saw better ones.

There is a Sanrio shop in Hamburg and Hanover. The one in Hanover will be closed the next time. So I've bought a new Kuromi schoolbag there, for 50% less of the regular price.

A reduced coincase from my favourite Sanrio character: Kuromi. It's with glitter. ♥ I've paid only 2€ for it.

One of my favourite shops are ONE GREEN ELEPHANT. I'm only buyinng clothes there, if they've sale. The clothes have a high quality and a good design. It's a japanese brand with many printed stuff. The most printdesigns are with supercute chibi's ♥

A closeup from one of my favourite tops. I don't know about an official onlineshop. But here you can get it too:
Haburi

I'm lucky to say: I have three stores in my homecity Hanover♥

Annother shop with good stuff is NeoTokyo ~
I have to warn you: The Onlineshop service isn't the best. But the stuff is good. And you can call the shop if you have problems, the employees are very friendly.
You can vistit their shops in Berlin and Muinch.

I'm buying Punkgirl stuff from japanese brands like:
-SeX PoT ReVeNGe
-Deorart
-Romantic Neurosis
-h. Naoto
-Hangry And Angry

They also have Lolitabrands:
-Angelic Pretty
-MARBLE
-Jessicas Wonderland

I'm also buying some stuff at PRIMARK. They have good basic clothes and sometimes T-Shirts with prints from Hello Kitty, Disney and some more. I love the childrenfloor for thier bags:

A spacedog plushbag... or whatever it is.

A supercute strawberry cioncase. I really LOVE this for my Bodyline strawberry shaped shoulderbag for lolita. I can easy clip it on the buckle of the shoulder strap.

The last shop I'm taking a look in, is NewYorker
There are some designs I love to combine. I have to search for some special things, yes, but I find some!

This is one of the last get from the shop in my local hometown. I even got some black and white striped leggins and some star printed ones. ♥
The nebula T-Shirt you can see here is from NY too~

For the end: I've made a snap from one of my latest outfits. ♥

T-Shirt:
SeX PoT ReVeNGe
Skirt:
Yessica (C&A)
Leggins:
New Yorker
Engineer Boots:
Graceland (Deichmann)

I shouldn't forget that I'm sometimes shopping at H&M and buying T-shirts or sweaters from merchendise of musicians and band I like♥
Some of my clothes I find on German second hand sites like Kleiderkreisel or the flearmarket of the official German Lolitacommunity Dunkelsüß ♥

Greetings and much love to all of you♥♥♥

P.S.: I hope I've could help some of you ^_~

~ ☆† How to make an Irodohieru Artcard †☆~

I really have to say: I haven't kept many steps photographed.
But well... it was so much fun to create this card from one of my biggest (fashion) illustration muses:
                                                                                Irodohieru
That I have to tell you about it.
This is the first step I took with my iphone camera:

This is the first outline, and the first step I've every made after that: to color the skin color. Here I'm using COPIC markers. If I'm remember correctly, I've used the colors: Egg Shell & Milky White

After this, I'm using two light pink shades to make the skin a little more like 'alive'. I wasn't really safe wich colors I should took for her frilled top (my design). But I think purple, white, blue, and a few grey will be matching with her silver/white hair.
At this photo you can also see a part of my giant red Kipling COPIC pen case. I've a big collection of these markers... over 80 pics, I think XD But I need them all. Not everytime every color, but I need these to create different styles.

This is the finished coloration. It difficult to create the right silver shade of her hair... and in the end it's a way to dark I think... but it's a nice colorway. Now, as you can see, I'm working with COPIC Multiliners to make the finish second outline.

This is a picture I've made while I'm working on the second outline. It's special... normally I don't take photos while I'm working on a drawing step. *haha* But I've made a lunch break and so I've photographed how far I had come.
You can see how different the hair is looking without the second outline.

And here it is. After drinking starbucks coffe and talking to my friends in the academy (we're sitting mostly on the same table). Just a few little light effects are to do with a simple GEL Pen (from Japan of course).

Here are some closeups from this artcard:

Her upper body and the logo I've made~

The frilled tank top I've designed just for her. I hope she like this design... ♥

The melting blue heart and a part of the decoration bottom stripes. I've made them a little vintage like.

Aaaaaaaaand finally a face closeup. I've first noticed at the end, that I've used a reference who's took with a mirror... so sorry for drawing her piercings at the wrong side ;___; I hate mistakes like that *buhu*

So this is how it cames out... An Irodevil artcard:

I'm sorry that I haven't scanned this cutie. But the computer rooms in our academy was full and I haven't enough time to do this. So no scanned end result for you. Sorry my dears.
But! I'll send a replicated card to her. So I'll made a scan. if someone is interested, I can send the digital card to you. ^_~

Greetings ♥
